        TRANS Suite 2000 Work Flow

        1.
The client sends a document to the translator
        2.
The document(s) is being pre-processed into a universal format.

        3.
A Dictionary Setup is being performed on the new document(s).

         4.
The Dictionary Setup process retrieves only the needed words from the
        Dictionary database.

A Translation Memory Setup is being performed on the new document(s).

         6.
The Translation Memory Setup retrieves only the translation pairs from

        These translation pairs can be

        The
project is opened into the Trans Suite 2000 Editor for translation or
        reviewing

        9.
The translations are automatically saved into the Project Databases

         10.
You can export the translation pairs of the project to disk for Machine
        Translation

         11.
The translation pairs are send to the Machine Translation Software for
        translation

         12.
The Machine Translation software translates the pairs and saves them to
        disk.

         13.
The translated pairs can be imported into the project and will be
presented to the translator when needed.

         14.
You can search or edit already translated pairs using the Translation
        Memory Editor.

         15.
The Translation Memory Editor reads/writes from/to the Translation
        Memory databases

         16.
You can search, edit or add terms using the Dictionary Editor.

The Dictionary Editor reads/writes from/to the Dictionary databases

         18.
The translation is finished and is now being post-processed to its
        original format (including layout)

         19.
A Translation Memory merge is being performed on the translated project

         20.
The Translation Memory merge-process saves the translated pairs into the
        Translation Memory for future re-use.
