TRANS Suite 2000 Text Format for Dictionaries

Files created in this format should have to extension ".t2d" (ex. "mydict.t2d")

 

Each term should start with: 

  <BEGIN>     

 

Source Term Information:
  <SRC>source
  <SRCGEN>gender*
  <SRCDEF>source definition*

The source must be written in the Ansi codepage of the source language.

 

Target Term Information:
  <TGT>target
  <TGTGEN>gender*
  <TGTDEF>target definition*
The target must be written in the Ansi codepage of the target language.

You can add as many target terms as you want.

 

Subject Information*:
  <SUBJECT>subject

 

Source Information*:
  <SOURCE>source 

This can be for ex. client name

Time Information*:

  <CREATIONTIME>12/31/1999 12:59:59
  <LASTMODIFIEDTIME>12/31/1999 12:59:59

Creator Information*:

  <CREATOR>creator name

 

Each term should end with: 

  <END>

 

If you have several occurrences of the same source term, TS2000 will automatically merge them to one term with several target terms when importing into TS2000.
