TRANS Suite 2000 Text Format for Translation Memories

Files created in this format should have to extension ".t2t" (ex. "myTM.t2t")

 

Each Translation Unit should start with: 

  <BEGIN>     

 

Source Sentence Information:
  <SRCTM>source sentence
The source sentence must be written in the Ansi codepage of the source language.

 

Target Sentence Information:
  <TGTTM>target sentence
The target must be written in the Ansi codepage of the target language.

 

Time Information*:

  <CREATIONTIME>12/31/1999 12:59:59
  <LASTMODIFIEDTIME>12/31/1999 12:59:59

Creator Information*:

  <CREATOR>creator name

 

Each Translation Unit should end with: 

  <END>

 

You cannot add several target terms, but you can have several translation units with the same source.  If you have duplicates, TS2000 will automatically remove them when importing.
