TRANS Suite 2000 Format for the User Defined Filter

 

Trans Suite 2000 has the following Syntax it does recognize:


Single Tag:

This is the Blue tag. You can use this tag for pictures, tables that should not be translated.

       CHR(23)+T+CHR(25)

Double Tags:

for text that should not be translated: use RED tags

       CHR(23)+R+CHR(25)+the text that does not need translation+CHR(23)+S+CHR(25)

for text that should be protected, but is editable: Use ORANGE tags

       CHR(23)+O+CHR(25)+the editable text, if protection OFF+CHR(23)+P+CHR(25)

Others:

for Bold, Italic and Underlined, there are some special rules:

       CHR(23)+BIU+CHR(25)

depending on the current status for the Bold (B), Italic (I) and Underlined (U) the tag can look different:

       ex: CHR(23)+BU+CHR(25)
       The text following this tag will be Bold and Underlined

       ex: CHR(23)+CHR(25)
       The text following this tag will be without any formatting

Trans Suite 2000 will take care of the segmentation.

 

Remark:

CHR(23) = character with number 23 in the codepage table

CHR(25) = character with number 25 in the codepage table
